MTC is an online/in-person mindfulness community of practice (CoP) empowering teens to own their own well-being.
MTC vision is to provide an online/in-person CoP that encourages:
Social skills
Self-compassion
Self-care
During MTCC, teens participate in mindfulness practices, games, and discussions that cultivate self-awareness, emotional intelligence, responsible decision making, and self-management
TOPIC: Breath and Body
This gathering is also an opportunity for teens 14-19 to come together to support each other's mindfulness practice. Format: guided mindfulness meditation; Introductions / Check-in Games; Short talk on discussion topic on how to integrate mindfulness into our everyday lives in dealing with relationships, school, the world; Declaration of Self Care; Closing.
We meet on the first and third Saturday of each month from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
